Context

With a fast growing base of users worldwide, we want to scale our manufacturing operation by relocating our production activities to Hungary. Our future Budapest production site is intended to become the flagship production hub for our global activities, and will be located in the east of Budapest or nearby regions (near the airport).

With an opening date in early 2027, we are hiring the key staff now to prepare for the launch.

Job Description

POSITION

We are currently seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor who will be in charge of leading the team of operators on the workshop floor. Starting from a small team of 2 to 5 operators in 2027, we aim at reaching a team of 20 to 30 operators by 2030.

Prior to the opening of our Budapest production site, we intend to prepare the key staff through a 1 year training in our Swiss HQ and production site.

After the training, upon opening of the Hungarian-based production operation, you will be responsible for the daily management of production operations, ensuring safe, high-quality and efficient manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and supervise a team of production operators

  • Train new staff in production steps, quality checks and safety rules

  • Organise and monitor daily work: tasks, priorities, shift plans

  • Participate to production efforts in the short term and during peak workloads

  • Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, cleanliness standards and documentation

  • Monitor KPIs: output, failure rate, efficiency

  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate problems to the Subsidiary Director / Swiss HQ

  • Maintain inventory of materials and tools

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Experience

  • 3–7 years experience in manufacturing (ideally assembly, plastics, electronics, medical device, automotive, etc.)

  • Strong hands-on mindset: willing to participate to production efforts in the short term and when needed

  • Experience as team leader / line leader / shift supervisor

  • Ability to train, motivate and guide operators

  • Good organisational skills and discipline

  • Good English required (communication with Swiss HQ)

  • Familiarity with documentation, quality checks, safety rules

  • Positive attitude, reliability, and respect for standardised processes
